Typewriter Olympia

As we know, Mikhail Bulgakov wrote all his works by hand in notebooks, so the typewriter is primarily associated with a remarkable person of O. Bokshanskaya, the writer’s sister-in-law, who worked for many years as Nemirovicha-Danchenko’s secretary and became the prototype of Polyxena Toropetzkaya from „A Theatrical Novel“.
